Knorr Spinach Dip
1 package (10oz.) of baby spinach or 1 package (10oz.) frozen
chopped spinach thawed & squeezed dry.
1 container 16oz. of sour cream
1 cup Hellman's Real Mayonnaise
1 package Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
1 can (8oz.) water chestnuts, drained & chopped
3 green onions chopped
Prep time: 10 minutes
Chill time: 2 hours
Well after looking at the ridiculously long list of ingredients on the Wally World package.....
I have decided to make my own spinach dip so I know what is in it. With the food allergies
I have I have to know exactly whats in my food. SO....I found a recipe inmy Halloween
Forum that was posted by MHOOCH........the lady with the pumpkin car!
Combine all the ingredients & chill about 2 hours. Serve with your favorite
dippers. A new serving idea: Hollow out cucumber slices & cherry
tomatoes. Fill vegetable with Knorr Spinach Dip & garnish with a sprig of dill.
Makes 4 cups.

Definately go for water chestnuts, they add a nice crunch, and I always
serve it in a King's Hawaiian round bread loaf with the midle cut out for a
bowl & pieces of bread to dip. I always buy extra bread & cut it up, cause the
middle of the loaf is never enough.

Ishwitch added......You can also use a round pumperknickel & make a
cauldron out of it. Turn it upside down to hollow out, the flat bottom gives a
nice edge. Place it on a fire of big pretzel logs with red, orange & yellow bell
pepper flames.

I have never had Spinach Dip or Hummus before last New Year's when the local
Walmart had all this stuff for the holidays & I thought I'm gonna try it. I have not tried
making these items from scratch cause the stuff from the store was so good! Thats
where I'll buy it for my parties. I'm a firm believer in saving time where you can.

Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
1.Squeezed 10oz. pak of frozen spinach
2. When opening your can of water chestnuts make
sure to rinse them well, then chop fine. Next chop 3
green onions. Add these to your spinach & mix well.
3.  Get your cup of mayo ready next & add it & your 16oz.
container of sour cream to the spinach mixture. Mix well
4. Now add in your Knorr Vegatable Mix.
5.This recipe makes 4 cups of Spinach Dip. Now  cover
your mixture with film wrap or put in a plastic container
with a lid & stick it in the refrigerator for 2 hours to chill.

This year 2017 we have started working on getting some

1. Brown the beef with some onion and season
with salt, pepper & garlic salt. Then drain.

2. Add jar of salsa & ground beef into a crock pot.
Turn on high.
3. Cut cheese into squares and add to crock pot. Done in 2 hours.
Serve with tortilla chips.

Usually when I make these I get a couple of packages of
Hot Dogs and 2 packages each of Polish Kielbosa &
Bratwurst along with 2 bags of Sauerkraut. The amount of
sauerkraut you will need really depends on the size of
the stein you are using so my advice is to simply

For those of you that may not be familiar with these types
of sausages I suggest getting the Johnsonville Brats. Now
your Polish Kielbosa.....you can either get the large pack or
Hillshire Farm puts out sausage in links.
Do not mix all your hot dogs & sausages together when
cooking make sure each is cooked in its own  pot or it will
mix the flavors & ruin them. When cooking sausages put
it in a shallow frying pan with a lid and some water,
enough to cover the sausages 1/2 way. Set stove on a
simmer, if you cook them on a high heat they will split
open. Also watch your hot dogs so they don't split open.
1. Cook hot dogs & sausages.
Sauerkraut - I like to buy the sauerkraut that is found in the
lunch-meat counters. I like it cold & krisp, but you can use
sauerkraut in the jar. Now some folks like their sauerkraut
washed & drained, others like to cook it in its juice. I put my
bags juice & all into a large frying pan with a little water added
and I add a sprinkle of caraway seed for flavor. Also add some
pepper. Go easy with the seed cause a little goes a long way
Let ingredients cool a bit and fill steins 1/2 way with
sauerkraut. Cut into pieces your hot dogs & sausages
and throw in onto top of sauerkraut.
Serve with Yellow Ous (mustard) & Thickened Blood
(catsup) to squirt over dogs & sauerkraut.
Prior to serving: Cut hot dogs & sausages up & place in plastic
bowls keep in the frig. Also cook sauerkraut, cool and keep in
the frig. When party gets started, warm each bowl of hot dogs
& sausages up in hot water and warm up sauerkraut.
Then fill steins. Can serve with a cut up french baguette.

1 piece of Spaghetti Pasta for Tail
Mix ground beef, add chopped onions, chopped
green peppers, salt, pepper, garlic salt, bread
crumbs & eggs. Shape meat into a rat and place
on cookie sheet to cook.

Cook spaghetti pasta tail. Warm up spaghetti sauce.
Get serving tray ready by placing pool of spaghetti
sauce in the center. Lift rat meatloaf carefully with 2
spatulas and place on sauce. Attach spaghetti tail.
My glass steins are packed away, these ones are from the Playboy in Chicago, I use to work
there. So it will give you an idea of how they should look even tho these steins are black. Also
its a good idea to serve them with a plastic fork inside of them.

Cocktail Sauce
Shrimp - Jumbo or Medium
Fill shot glasses 3/4 full of cocktail sauce and hang shrimp on them.
Guests just love these and they could go pretty fast. Buying the jumbo shrimp is
great if you can afford them but the medium go further, put 2 to a glass. Walmart
medium shrimp are $6.00 a bag, get a couple or 3 bags and they can last awhile.
Tallula was a great friend of mine on
the Halloween Forum. She had these
fantastic parties and her food tables
were terrific. I have not heard from her
in awhile but I'm going to post some of
her foods. Hope you enjoy them.
Please note these are not her recipes I
only had pictures of her tables so I
tried to find what I think would be good
recipes.
To present these shit monsters she used a real toliet
seat and placed them on there I think with a roll of
toliet paper next to them.
3 tablespoons Butter
1 oz. Bakers Unsweetened Chocolate
1 package Jets Puffed Marshmellows
6 cups Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies cereal
1 1/2 cup Kraft Caramel Bits divided
1 tablespoons water
1/2 cup toasted pecans

1. Microwave butter & chocolate in a large bowl 45
seconds or until melted & blended well when stirred.
2. Add marshmellows. Toss to coat. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes
watch the timing or until marshmellows are completely melted
& mixture is well blended stir after 45 seconds.
3. Add cereal, 1 cup of caramel bits & mix well.
Spray Pam spray on your hands and shape the
cereal into egg shapes. Add eyes.
4. Microwave water & remaining caramel bits in a small bowl on 45
seconds & stir till bits are melted. Drizzle over cereal mixture.
Sprinkle with nuts and press them lightly into cereal mixture to
secure. Let them cool completely.
This recipe is for Turtle Krispies so the below
is a option of adding nuts to the top of the bars.
For this project to look  authentic you have to
purchase a new training potty.....if you have a used
one sitting around the house.....I would not suggest
using it for this project. So we stress on the word
"New".

Remove the inset from the potty & wash well
with soapy water.
Boil water for the making of the 3 boxes of jello. I
usually cut back a bit on the amount of water to get
a more jiggly jello that is not real loose. Mix in the
cold water & pour into potty bowl. Put in the frig to
start to set. After it sets a bit insert the candy bars
or tootsie rolls into the jello & position toward the
bottom & work your way up. Place back in the frig.
Place potty bowl in potty and set on table to serve

Use a food processer to turn Oreo's into a fine dirt like
mixture. Pour crumbs into bowls or new and washed
flower pots. Mix the worms inside the crumbs.

Cream Cheese
Whiteheads
Stuffed Tomatoes
Wash tomatoes and hollow out. Let your Cream Cheese
soften and then put in a decorating bag or in a plastic
baggie & snip the corner end off. Squeeze into tomatoes.
Place on a serving tray with a namecard.
Tell guests to give them a gentle squeeze before they eat
them. EEEWWWWW!!

Caramels or Peanut Butter or
Butterscotch Candy Melts
Package of small Lollipop Stix

Ingredients
1 lb.  Fresh Bay Scallops of Sea Scallops
kosher salt & fresh ground pepper
all purpose flour for dredging
4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, divided (1/2 stick)
1/2 cup shallots chopped (2 large)
1 garlic clove minced
1/4 cup flat leaf parsley chopped
1/3 cup dry white wine
1 lemon cut in half
This recipe take just a few minutes to cook & is very
tasty. The quick way to do it when entertaining guests
is to have all the ingredients chopped & cut & ready to
go. You can then cook this very fast & its worth
serving!
1. If you're using  bay scallops keep them whole but if you
are using sea scallops cut them in half horizontally.
Sprinkle scallops with salt & pepper & flour, toss and
shake off excess.
2. In a very large saute pan, heat 2 tablespoons of butter
over high heat until sizzling & add the scallops in 1 layer.
Cook about 2 minutes. Lower the heat to medium & allow
scallops to brown lightly on 1 side without moving them.
Then turn & brown lightly on the other side. This should
take about 3-4 minutes total Don't overcook scallops or
they will be tough.
3. Melt in the other 2 tablespoons of butter with the
scallops. Then add the shallots, garlic & parsley. Saute
for 2 more minutes, tossing the seasonings with the
scallops.
4. Add the wine, cook 1 minute & taste for seasoning.
Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon.
Note: I would serve these straight from the kitchen in
like little cups with cocktail forks. Pass around to your
guests cause they are delicious but they can't sit.
Decide how many scallops you want to serve to
each person, buy little cups that hold the amount
you want to serve. Scallops are very expensive so
if you have an idea of what you are going to make
ahead of time it helps.
Halloween Food
White Trash Salad
Ingredients
1 bag of mini marshmellows
1 lg. can mandarin oranges
1 lg. can pineapple tidbitd or crushed
1 lg. tub cool whip
1 lg. tub cottage cheese
1 small box of orange jello
Drain the pineapple & oranges. Mix &
combine all ingredients. Refrigerate
until serving.

Gore Goodies 9 has some additional ideas for shot glasses.
If you need them to go further, serve
scallops over a portion of rice that is
cooked in chicken broth, add butter &
chopped green onions to the rice & place
scallops on top of the rice. If served this
way guests will need a spoon instead of a
cocktail fork. Makes for a tasty & eye
appealing appetizer.
Well...I seen a few different ways to make these, one
was with just attaching the marshmellow to the ends of
the stick & then rolling tips in caramel & letting them sit
till they harden.
One was rolling them in peanut butter instead of
caramel....and lastly rolling them in butterscotch
pudding. I think the pudding would become a mess if it
was sitting on your party table at room temperature.
But if you are set on butterscotch, I would get
butterscotch flavored candy melts...melt down & dip
marshmellow ends in them & cool in the frig.
If you let them cool at room temperature right out of
the pot  all the candy will run off. So when melting
melts keep in mind to let melted chocolate not be
runny.....let it cool and as it does it will thicken, don't
let cool too long.
Another idea was to attach the marshmellows to ends of
the sticks and put them in the microwave for a second
or two. While marshmellow is warm roll with your clean
fingers. This gives the q-tip that real look.
Let them cool & then proceed with dipping. When done
no matter which way you make them put them in the
frig to set up. If leaving in the frig till serving, cover with
film wrap. Be careful, this is not molded candy so it
could crack if left in the frig too long.
